Privacy Policy
Last updated: January 30, 2026
1. Introduction
Nataris ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our AI inference API service.
By using our Service, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
- Email address
- Password (encrypted)
- Billing information and payment details
- API keys and usage data
Usage Data
- API request logs (timestamps, endpoints, response times)
- Token consumption and billing records
- Error logs and debugging information
Inference Data
We process the prompts and inputs you submit for AI inference. This data is:
- Transmitted securely to compute providers for processing
- By default, not stored permanently after job completion — we only keep metadata (job IDs, timestamps)
- If you use conversation memory (conversation_id), that content is stored on our servers until you delete it
- Not used to train AI models
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Service
- Process your transactions and send billing notifications
- Communicate with you about updates, security alerts, and support
- Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve our Service
- Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We may share your information with:
- Compute Providers: Your inference requests are routed to distributed providers for processing. Providers only receive the data necessary to complete the job.
- Payment Processors: We use third-party payment services (Stripe, Razorpay) to process transactions securely.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid legal requests.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Peer-to-Peer Processing (Important)
How Our Decentralized Network Works:
Nataris operates a peer-to-peer AI inference network. When you submit a prompt, it is processed on mobile devices owned by our verified provider network. This architecture differs from traditional cloud providers in important ways:
- Data Visibility: During processing, your prompt is visible to the provider device running the inference. While we encrypt data in transit, the prompt must be decrypted for AI model processing.
- Provider Obligations: All providers contractually agree not to store, log, share, or misuse any data they process. Violation results in immediate termination.
- Audit Trail: We maintain metadata logs (not content) of all job assignments for compliance and dispute resolution purposes.
- Default: No Content Storage: Prompts and responses are not stored after job completion unless you opt in. If you use conversation memory (passing conversation_id in chat) that data is stored server-side and can be deleted via the API.
Your Responsibility: Given this architecture, you should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential business data, or content that would be harmful if accessed by third parties.
Verified Provider Routing: We offer optional routing to providers with verified device integrity. When enabled, your requests are processed only by devices that have passed attestation checks (unmodified app, non-rooted device). This reduces but does not eliminate the data visibility inherent to our P2P architecture.
Provider Attestation Data: For providers opting into verified status, we collect device integrity attestation tokens from Google Play Integrity API. These tokens verify app authenticity and device security status but do not contain personal information. Attestation data is used solely for provider verification and routing decisions.
6. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS/HTTPS)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Secure API key generation and storage
- Regular security audits and monitoring
7. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Usage logs and billing records are retained for legal and accounting purposes. By default, inference data (prompts and responses) is not stored permanently and is not retained after job completion.
Conversation Memory
If you use conversation memory, the following retention policies apply:
- Manual deletion: You can delete conversations and documents at any time via the API (
DELETE /v1/conversations/:idorDELETE /v1/documents/:id). - Automatic cleanup: Conversations and documents with no activity for 90 days are automatically deleted. This prevents unbounded storage growth and is especially relevant for transient use (e.g., LibreChat sessions).
- Conversation auto-summarization: Older messages within active conversations are periodically summarized and replaced with a compact summary, keeping only the most recent messages in full.
Storage Limits
- Up to 100 conversations per user
These limits are intentionally generous for beta. They may be adjusted as the platform scales.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Access and receive a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Data portability
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@nataris.ai
9. International Data Transfers
Our Service uses distributed compute providers globally. Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
10. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect Service functionality.
11. Children's Privacy
Our Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website.
